Zvi Milshtein is an Israeli painter, who lives and creates in France.
Born in 1934, Kishinev, Moldova.
Milshtein defines himself as an expressionist artist. In the works he combines the Russian tradition with the French tradition. Milshtein has a fantastic inner world of demons and femmes fatales. His images are parables in which an autobiographical response is embodied.
He has had innumerable solo exhibitions, in museums and galleries in Israel and in art centers through out the world.
Already at the age of 21 (in 1955) he exhibited a solo exhibition at the Tel Aviv Museum. He presented a solo exhibition at the Tel Aviv Museum two more times (in 1959 and in 1967).
In 1966 he won the Prix de la Critique for Etching
