Gilad Keydar (born in 1959) is an Israeli artist.

In Keydar's work there is a constant struggle between tradition and culture, which are represented by the aesthetics picturesque, and the urge to break free from cables and discipline represented by pictorial language expressive and passionate. Keydar first explored the boundaries of painting by using unconventional substrates. Later he examined the boundaries of painting within the traditional canvas. In his work, he actually applied Martin Heidegger's words: "A boundary is not that at which something stops but, […], the boundary is that from which something begins its essential unfolding".

Keydar participated in group exhibitions and exhibited solo exhibitions in galleries throughout the country.

Gilad Keydar was awarded Havazelet Foundation Prize (1994), Prize for the Encouragement of Creative Art, Ministry of Education and Culture (1996) and Oscar Hendler Prize, Kibbutz Lohamei Hagetaot (1998)
